ONLINE JOURNALISM HERE TO STAY

We are in a digital world, the online era.
The ONLINE MEDIA NETWORK platform has been formed in Benin city Edo state and  WhatsApp, Instagram,  Facebook and YouTube  groups, accounts and pages created.
It's motivation is to keep up with modern trends of doing things especially communication, which has gone digital, the world over.

And Nigeria cannot be an exception.
Even the federal and state governments  conduct important meeting s online. Goods and services ordered and delivered online. Bookings and ticketing. Learning, teaching. Contract signings. Etc.

"Virtually every thing is online; you either swim with it or get drowned"
.
THE DAYS OF BIRO AND PAPER ARE GOING FAST, INDEED GONE.
 ICT/ DEVICE(S) HERE TO STAY.

The group shall be for journalists only, who are admins of online platforms; bloggers, vloggers, online media activists.

Synergy, training, networking access to the vast global opportunities the internet offers as well as  upward development of practice has become very imperative and a sine qua non in today's professions; for sustenability or advancement:
And journalism cannot be an exception. It should be in the forefront.

With communication only second to oxygen and worldwide information at every enlightened person's finger tips,  the ONLINE MEDIA NETWORK platform must be used to enhance our collective and individual growth and fast development.
Together our voices cannot be ignored but rather, will be harnessed loud and clear in government and private circles with the aim of making it the preferred channel of information dissemination, to most because of the fact that it is on time real time, automated, not manual, ICT driven, digital and not analogue.

So much so that anyone who is not at home with online ways of doing things is only dwelling in the past and if not careful will be left in the dustbin of history... of the past.
