Land Grabbers Threaten Life of 'Canada World' Investor and President of Edo Indigenous Movement Worldwide, Bishop Omogiade Edokpolor.


The chairman/managing director of 'Canada world' group and president Edo indigenous movement worldwide, has alleged  that  his life and property  are under threat by land grabbers in Benin.
In an interview with journalists in his office at the headquarters of his conglomerate in the state capital, he narrated his ordeal at the hands of the chief grabber, one Mr Victor Osaigbovo and his team of hoodlums from Amagba community, who allegedly assaulted, battered and manhandled him inside his vast acres of land now criminally converted, adopted him  and forcefully removed him to a hideout but for someone there who recognized him and pleaded for his release, after nearly a whole day in captivity. 
Consequently, the Benin born advocate/encourager of homeland-investment through his EDO INDIGENOUS MOVEMENT worldwide; to Edos and Nigerians in diaspora, is hereby calling on the government, the wake-and-see governor,  the IG of Police, all security agents, His royal majesty  Omon'oba n'edo uku akpolokpolor, the Oba of Benin n'ogidigan Oba Ewuare 2; who is instrumental to the anti-land grabbing law of edo state, Nigeria; to come to his rescue; as his life is in grave danger owing to anonimous threat calls and strange trailing cars most of the times he drives out. 
Continuing, the foremost investor and employer of many workers challenged the government to protect him and his business investments in the state as this is the primary duty of government everywhere worldwide. 
In conclusion, the patriotic business man advised the government not-to stand aloof and indifferent but rather, to give teeth to its subsisting private property protection law so that both present and future foreign investors wouldn't consider relocation of their business interests from edo state.
